I remember one of the first pieces of art that I made where I went, "Wow! Look what I did!" It was this jellyfish I drew on a cross-country plane trip - I must have been flying home on a break from freshman year in college. I drew the thing from my head, then I got super detailed with colored pencils. I think I still have it around somewhere...anyway, I like things with tentacles.
In preparation for some upcoming projects, I drew/painted this on a recent sick day from work. No photoshop, y'all, and it's freeeeaky not having a control-z option!
It's...the OwlHenryBlog!

Dungeons and Dragons (I)
Looking for a distraction from nursing school madness, I joined a Dungeons & Dragons group that met every other Sunday. A year and a half later, we've successfully completed our first major campaign, and Greyhawk is safe from Tiamat! (You're welcome.) This is a poster I made for my Murder Hoboes, the six most excellent dudes I've had the honor of fighting alongside these past months. Having a place to go to for a few hours every other week has really helped to ground me, in school and in the intensity of my new job - this illustration is the least I could do to show my gratitude.
